MYTH vs. FACT: Young Kim Ads are FALSE

LIE #1

Young Kim says she's the "only candidate in the race with a 100 percent voting record with President Trump."

This is FALSE. Young Kim sponsored a resolution with Democrats censuring President Trump. Young Kim said Trump should have “consequences” and that he “should be held accountable” saying he "gravely endangered the security of the United States” and "betrayed his trust as President,” while pushing to censure and condemn him.

Ken Calvert is the ONLY candidate in the race who has ever been endorsed by President Trump, because he's the ONLY candidate who has stood solidly behind President Trump and his agenda. 

LIE #2

Young Kim says Ken Calvert "sided with Nancy Pelosi.... and every single Democrat in Congress to force taxpayers to fund sex change operations for children."

This is FALSE. Yet another bald-faced lie by Young Kim. Calvert never voted for anything that would provide funding for sex change surgeries. Trump wouldn’t have endorsed Ken Calvert two times over if he had voted for anything close to this.

Young Kim cites an appropriations bill that was supported by both President Trump and Republican Leadership in the House. Is Young Kim arguing President Trump supports sex change surgeries for children? Her argument is preposterous. A quick search of the Community Project Funding items included in the final bill reveals there was NO Funding for sex change surgeries. 

Young Kim doesn't want to talk about how she has back-stabbed Trump for 10 years, including authoring a bill to censure him, so she is deflecting with fabricated falsehoods.

LIE #3 

Young Kim alleges that Ken has voted to give illegal aliens benefits and to stop the border wall.  In fact, Ken Calvert was one of the ORIGINAL authors of the SECURE FENCE Act of 2006 and has diligently worked to build a physical double-layer fence along our southern Border for years.  

Ken Calvert is the creator of E-Verify to ensure that American jobs only go to American workers and those legally authorized to work in the U.S. He is working to make it mandatory for ALL employers to cut off the job magnet. 

Meanwhile, Young Kim is an original AUTHOR of the Dignity Act, which would provide mass  AMNESTY for illegal immigrants and has been universally panned by Trump officials and conservative in Congress.  She has a D GRADE from NumbersUSA, a trusted source for border security and anti-amnesty advocates. 

LIE #4

Young Kim says that Ken Calvert has voted with Nancy Pelosi over 5,400 times, despite providing no proof.  The truth? Ken has voted 100% of the time with President Trump, per independent watchdogs in Congress.
